As the interdisciplinary nature of public safety continues to grow and mature I am seeing further development of academic honor societies developing as well. Capella has had a chapter of Alpha Phi Sigma (National Criminal Justice Honor Society) for a couple of years now. Jeff Godwin is the chapter president (please contact him with any questions at jgodwin2@nc.rr.com).
Epsilon Pi Phi is emerging as the national honor society for Homeland Security and Emergency Management programs. We have just established a chapter and membership is growing.
Please provide a comment if there are any other honor societies germane to the public safety field.
Thanks!
Charles

Dr. Marian Mosser,
I am a new student to the Public Safety field. I will email you shortly about membership details.
I’m interested in the Policy Analyst/Administrative side of Public Safety and Homeland Security.
Michael
