David Gergen

2009 Jul 14 Posted by Charles

I was in Phoenix yesterday – where it was 112 degrees – and had the distinct privilege of meeting Mr. David Gergen. He has been actively involved supporting four U.S. Presidents. He is a military veteran and is active in higher education. He was invited to speak at our doctoral colloquium as we continue the launch of our new School of Public Service Leadership.

I was glad to meet some of our public safety scholar-practitioners in the audience and happy that they were able to participate in this event.

Mr. Gergen participated in a book signing and very caringly spoke to each and every visitor! I was very impressed by the man, his career and his commitment to public service leadership.
