Allen, of Dubuque, Iowa, a learner in the M.S. in Public Safety program at Capella University, has been included in the Strathmore’s Who’s Who Worldwide Edition for his outstanding contributions and achievements in the field of emergency healthcare on September 20, 2011.<span id="more-758"></span></p>
<p><strong>About Brian M. Allen</strong></p>
<p>Mr. Allen has 11 years of experience in emergency medicine, with two years serving in the City of Platteville. He is currently EMS Administrator, in charge of all city ambulance services, and is responsible for hiring, disciplinary actions, budgeting and overseeing a staff of 25. They provide emergency medical care to the residents and visitors of the City of Platteville and surrounding towns.</p>
<p>Mr. Allen was formerly a 911 Dispatcher with the Grant County Sheriff’s Office, Lancaster, Wisconsin, dispatching appropriate law, fire and EMS units, and also served as President and Chief &amp; Service Director for Lancaster EMS, Inc., where he oversaw the daily management of the ambulance service, budgeting, personnel and operations. He then became an EMS with Lancaster EMS, Inc., providing pre-hospital emergency medical care to the residents and visitors of Lancaster, Wisconsin.</p>
<p>Mr. Allen currently is an Adjunct Faculty member with Southwest Wisconsin Technical College in Fennimore, Wisconsin, where he teaches EMS related courses. He received a B.S. in Criminal Justice from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, in 2002 and is a candidate for an M.S. in Public Safety from Capella University, in 2013. Mr. Allen is the Vice President of Grant County EMS Association, the Secretary of MABAS Division 108 Executive Board and is a member of Pi Gamma Mu International Honor Society in Social Sciences. He currently resides in Platteville, Wisconsin, where he enjoys bowling, watching University of Wisconsin Badger football and men’s hockey and travel.</p>
